RAJA RITHVIK, studying in the 5th
class made Orchids - The International School proud yet another time. He has
become the New National Schools Champion -2013 and bagged Gold medal on 11/6/2013
by scoring 7.5 points out of 9 rounds at Chennai. In the 9th and
Final round Rithvik defeated Mehta Naitik of Gujarat in a well fought
encounter. Rithvik received the gold medal and Merit Certificate from Indian
Grand Master Adhibhan of Chennai. Orchids congratulates him and wishes him all
the best in his future endeavours.

Practising for perfection
Orchids – The International School
organized a guest lecture for grades 1 to 5 on 12/6/2013. It was conducted
by Mrs .Sunanda Rao Kommireddi on the topic ‘Practising for perfection’.
The presentation started with
learning about what exactly is practice and why children need practice? Practice is must and a simple learning method
all over the globe. Next point of presentation was, How to practise? With the help of a small story the discussion concluded
with, ‘Perfect practice is for perfection’. On the whole it was a very
interactive and lively discussion with active participation of the children.
