It is a matter of pride to have eight-year old R.Raja
Rithvik studying in the fourth grade of Orchids-The International School. His
victories in chess tournaments at the district, state, national and international
levels are highly commendable. Success, it seems, has become a matter of routine
for him since the age of four. He is the highest rated player in U-8 category
among Indian players with International rating of 1566 and second seed in Asia.
He represented India in the 7th Asian School Chess Championship in
Under – 7 category conducted by Asian Chess Federation from 16th to
23rd December in 2011 at New Delhi. Raja Rithvik is the present AP
State Champion in Under -7 Category and bagged prizes in National Championship
conducted at Pune in July 2011 and Bhubaneshwar in August, 2011.
